Queen Elizabeth Strips Prince Harry and Meghan Markle From Their Royal Titles

According to new reports, Queen Elizabeth said in a statement, “Following many months of conversations and more recent discussions, I am pleased that together we have found a constructive and supportive way forward for my grandson and his family. Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much loved members of my family.”

For the first time the Queen also hinted at the troubles that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been dealing with behind closed doors with all of the criticism they have received from the British press and tabloids. I recognize the challenges they have experienced as a result of intense scrutiny over the last two years and support their wish for a more independent life. I want to thank them for all their dedicated work across this country, the Commonwealth and beyond, and am particularly proud of how Meghan has so quickly become one of the family.”

British Royal News: What’s Next For Harry and Meghan?

With that said, a lot of royal fans and observers also have plenty of questions about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s future. While it’s been made clear that the couple won’t be using any more public funds, will Prince Charles still help support them with the $2.5 million that Harry gets from the Duchy of Cornwall? If that weren’t enough, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s use of ‘Sussex Royal’ is also being put into question. The couple trademarked the name and have even launched their own Sussex Royal website following the announcement they made about stepping down from their senior roles within the monarchy.
