Marlene Koenig Suggests The” Perfect Way” To Make Peace With Prince Harry And Meghan Markle
Prince Harry, 36, and his wife Meghan Markle, 40, stepped down as senior members of the royal family and moved to America to become financially independent. Since their departure, the couple has made a lot of claims against the royal family, starting from racist claims to negligence, and it’s brought about a strained relationship between the pair and most of the members of the RF.
A source previously said that Prince William limited his communications with Harry when he became doubtful of what his brother would be leaking to the media next.
Since the Sussex couple’s exit, the pair haven’t jointly visited the country, and royal commentator Marlene
Koenig allegedly knows the best way that the Queen can use to make Harry and Meghan realize that they’re still important to the Royal Family.
“I think it would just send a good message,” Ms. Koenig told Express.co.uk. “Forget about the previous comments and statements that have been said.”
“This would be the Queen saying ‘you are my family’, she continued. “And I think that would be very important.”
“I would think that it would be the perfect olive branch for the Queen to say, ‘I want you there’.”
Queen Elizabeth To Celebrate Historic 70 Years On The Throne In 2022
The Queen, 95, will be celebrating her Platinum Jubilee, which marks her 70th year on the throne, next year.
In doing so, she will be the first British ruler to hit that landmark record. While the official date for the monarch’s jubilee falls in February, the celebrations will start at the beginning of June.
The occasion will see an extended bank holiday weekend between June 2 and 5.
Hugo Vickers, a royal historian, shared what he thought of the upcoming celebrations and what the Queen’s role in them could be.
He claimed that while the Monarch will not be taking an active role in the celebrations, it would still prove to be a very exciting one, especially given the pandemic and the lockdowns.
“It’s such an opportunity to have fun, to celebrate the Queen Elizabeth and to enjoy doing it,” he said. “The Queen herself is going to do about 10 big things in the course of the year.”
“Nobody’s ever seen a Platinum Jubilee before. I think it will be hugely significant,” he continued. “By the time it comes around, with a bit of luck, people will feel happier about coming. They’ll have been locked up for two years more or less and they’ll suddenly burst into life.”
The Queen was crowned in 1952, at the age of 25, at Westminster Abbey following the death of her father George VI.
Making History
For the upcoming celebrations, Culture Secretary Oliver Dowden said in June that the event will be a once-in-a-lifetime affair.
“Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee will be a truly historic moment – and one that deserves a celebration to remember,” he explained at the time.
“We can all look forward to a special, four-day Jubilee weekend, when we will put on a spectacular, once-in-a-generation show that mixes the best of British ceremonial splendour with cutting edge art and technology. It will bring the entire nation and the Commonwealth together in a fitting tribute to Her Majesty’s reign.”

I wouldn’t invite the Sussex duo. They will spoil the event trying to be #1. Also, the crowds will boo them and put a damper on the occasion.
It would be a disaster from the get go. Let them eat cake at home.
No, they should not be invited. They are a recipe for disaster and will ruin HMTQ's special celebrations. MM, especially, should not be allowed anywhere near HMTQ. MM and Harry cannot be trusted, and MM is pure evil and would stop at nothing to get attention and possibly bring harm to HMTQ, or Prince William or Duchess Catherine or their children if she doesn't get her own way.
please dont have them as its your speacil day you dont what anything or anyone spoil it i know they are family but somethines its best not to invite certain family members ..they have did you wrong hurt you and family its best for you and all they do not attend .sending best wishes .Connie Dankoski.
I definitely don't think the Queen should offer them an olive branch as she is not the one that has done anything wrong here and to do this would say that she had. Invited or not you could not keep Harry and Meghan away from it for anything. Just think of all the publicity that Meghan and Harry would be missing. If I am not mistaken the Queen has already invited Harry to this. If there is any apologizing to be done it is from the parties in the USA to the Monarchy in England. One more thing, if they do come, and I am sure they will, they should not be allowed on the balcony with the other working royals since they gave up that right. Let them watch it from somewhere else.
