According to Britain’s Express, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are moving out of Kensington Palace next month as they prepare for the birth of their first child in late April. Apparently, Prince Harry’s grandmother went the extra mile to give them a special moving gift to help mark the occasion. Frogmore Cottage is currently undergoing extensive renovation work and is expected to be completed before Meghan gives birth.
Royal insiders say that Harry ad Meghan will receive one-of-a-kind artwork from The Royal Art Collection. It is currently the largest collection of privately owned art in the world, with more than 50 works by Canaletto, roughly 600 Leonardo Da Vinci drawings and at least 20 pieces by Michelangelo.
A Palace insider told Vanity Fair: “Meghan and Harry have been told they can choose some artwork for Frogmore Cottage. They have been presented with a list of paintings that would be available to them and they are making up their minds as to what they would like.”
It’s without a doubt that it won’t be easy for Harry and Meghan to choose “just a few” works of art. With that being said, the artwork they end up choosing will sure make great conversation pieces for guests who visit their home!
