Queen Reportedly Trying Her Best To Ensure The Survival Of The Monarchy

Queen Elizabeth Is Reportedly Trying Her Best To Ensure The Survival Of The Monarchy Long After She's GoneThe Queen’s iconic Platinum Jubilee celebrations have come and gone, and as the dust of the epic celebrations settle, there are questions about how long the Monarchy can survive. Will it be able to live on after the beloved Queen Elizabeth the II is gone, or will the Monarchy perish after her reign?

While there are campaigns for the Monarchy to die with the Queen, support for the Monarchy is still in the Royal Family’s court, but how long will they be able to enjoy this support? A year, a decade, or for seventy more years?

Royal Expert Predicts A Modern Scaled Down Approach to the Monarchy

The Queen is starting to hand in the reins to the younger members of the Monarchy. This year has already seen Prince Charles, the Queen’s heir, read the Queen’s speech during the State Opening of the Parliament for the very first time.

As the Jubilee celebrations ended, the Queen, along with Prince Charles and Camilla, Prince William, Kate and their three children waved to the cheering crowds from the balcony – the move was seen as a perfect picture of the future of the Monarchy.

While it’s been said that Prince Charles has always looked forward to a slimmed-down Royal Family, it looks like the Queen supports the motion.

Apart from slimming down the Monarchy, royal commentator Karren Brady, believes that a down-to-earth approach will be the Royal Family’s winning approach.

“Just like Princess Diana, the People’s Princess, with her warm, friendly approach to all those she met, the goal is for The Firm to become the People’s Royal Family,” Brady wrote for the Sun, adding: “And the one person who has given the green light to this amazing change is our 96-year-old monarch.”

Prince William is already leading the way by making headlines and going viral selling the Big Issue magazine in order to raise money for the homeless.

The move was unannounced and the prince stepped out as incognito as possible, with the Big Issue cap, red tabard and photo ID as he outsold veteran vendor Dave Martin.

William was a young boy when his mom took him to meet rough sleepers at “cardboard city” in the capital’s Waterloo.

Now close to celebrating his 40th birthday, he’s devoting his time to combatting homelessness, mental health and climate change.
