Reason Meghan Markle Falls Short of Queen Camilla’s Popularity Revealed

Try as she may, Meghan Markle will never be able to step out of Queen Camilla’s shadow, not to talk of overshadowing her. At least that’s what a royal expert believes. What might make one think that, you ask? Well, read on to find out.

Why Queen Camilla Can Be Able To Turn Her UK Image Around, And Why Meghan Can’t

Queen Camilla and Meghan Markle are two royal ladies that have suffered at the hands of public opinion, but whilst one was able to redeem herself – sort of – the other has very little to offer in terms of a redemption arc that could turn the tides in her favor.

However, if Camilla can somewhat worm her way back into our hearts, why can’t Meghan be able to do so?

Royal expert Robert Jobson believes it all comes down to who’s got “a great character.”

“Through all of the bad times she had, [Camilla] never said a word. She never spoke publicly about anything. That’s what’s likeable about her. She’s a very likeable person. She’s got a great character and she’s not looking for anybody to like her…”

He continued: “If Meghan spends her life worrying about whether she’s liked or not invariably [she’ll] end up disappointed because some people like you and some people don’t, that’s just the way it is.”

“So can she turn herself around, Meghan in the UK? I doubt it, I doubt it,” he noted to Kinsey Schofield on the Kinsey Schofield Unfiltered podcast.

However, we must note that these two ladies are living under widely different circumstances. While one continues to be a part of the Royal Family circle, the other willingly stepped down, alongside her husband, in pursuit of a more private and normal life in America.

If the latter’s husband is to be believed, Meghan Markle will likely no longer be stepping foot in the UK, not whilst Prince Harry remains without his 24/7 taxpayer funded security. So if she has no interest in being back on the island nation, then it’s safe to say that she won’t be planning to make any particularly exhaustive efforts to win back the British people’s goodwill.
