Rose Hanbury Demands To Have Her Name Cleared

She is no longer messing around. There’s a new report that says Rose Hanbury has sent a legal notice to Stephen Colbert for his monologue.

Earlier in the month, the late night talk show host suggested that one of the reasons why Kate Middleton was so quiet was because of the supposed affair between her husband, Prince William, and her former best friend, Rose Hanbury.

But as we all know by now, that wasn’t the case at all as the Princess of Wales just revealed that she had been diagnosed with cancer. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

According to a new report, Rose Hanbury is proving that she’s not pulling any punches. She is prepared to take legal action to shut down all the rumors suggesting that she had an affair with Prince William and she’s starting with none other than Stephen Colbert.

In his monologue, Stephen went after Prince William for all the 2019 rumors that suggested he and Rose Hanbury had an affair behind Kate Middleton’s back. He also suggested that might have been one of the reasons why Kate Middleton had been out of the spotlight for so long.

Rose’s lawyers even said in a statement, “The rumor appears to have entered into the mainstream media recently as a result of another joke made about it on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

We have written on our client’s behalf to CBS and various other reputable media organizations to confirm that the allegation is false.”

Rose Hanbury – Is Taking Legal Action

During his late night talk show, Colbert said on March 12, “Internet sleuths are guessing that Kate’s absence may be related to her husband, and the future King of England, William, having an affair. I think we all know who the alleged other woman is, say it with me, The Marchioness of Cholmondeley. Now there have been rumors of an affair between William and [Rose] since 2019″.

According to tabloids, back then, when Kate supposedly confronted him about it, he ‘laughed it off, saying there was nothing to it.’ Aha, always a good response when your wife accuses you of cheating.”
