Rose Hanbury Responds To “Completely False” Narrative About Affairs With Prince William

With no proof, no pictures, no reliable sources, some members of the public – internet – are quite convinced that Prince William had an affair with Rose Hanbury that’s part of his and wife Princess Kate’s inner circle.

Before you start blowing off steam on these allegations, it’s only right to consider that both families have young children and no one wants to have affair rumors hanging over their heads.

And what if Prince William cheated? Why should we care more than Kate Middleton does? I’d really like to know the time and place where Prince William took out marriage certificates for the rest of us.

While these rumors are “completely false,” they sting, as any untrue allegations against someone must do.

I don’t know if you noticed it but there seems to be a recurring pattern here; comedians are ever so ready to kick a lady when they are down.

While Will Smith’s reaction to Chris Rock’s joke at the Oscars may be described as a bit too much, I remember Smith apologized for the slap, but I don’t remember Rock doing so for the tasteless joke.

So, as Princess Kate continues to recover from surgery and asks the world to give her some privacy while she does so – something that she is absolutely not being given – Stephen Colbert has decided that turning her misery into a joke may well boost his ratings.

Well, I for one I’m tired of comedians kicking women whenever they’re down all in the name of “joke.” God, knows other famous women like Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande have suffered such many jokes as to fill all the depths in this world.

What did Stephen Colbert do? Well, I’ll tell you.

“Oh no, my heart goes out to poor Kate,” Colbert said on his show. “So, I think we all know who the alleged other woman is. Say it with me –– the Marchioness of Cholmondeley –– what a beautiful name!” he joked, referring to Hanbury’s formal royal title (pronounced “Chumley”).”

“There have been rumors of an affair between William and the Marching Band of Chicanery since 2019,” Colbert said. “According to tabloids back then, when Kate supposedly confronted him about it, he laughed it off, saying there was nothing to it. Always a good response when your wife accuses you of cheating.”

“Ha ha, imagine me having an affair! It is to laugh. It reminds me of a jape: Knock, knock. Who’s there? Oh, it’s my illegitimate son. I’ve knocked up my mistress.”

This, of course, sent the internet into a spiral. So much so that Rose Hanbury’s lawyers reached out to proclaim that the rumors “are completely false.”

Hanbury has been married to David Rocksavage, 7th Marquess of Cholmondeley since 2009.
I guess the world is an inherently sad place where people project their ugliness on others for the meager price of feeling some devious satisfaction.
