Royal Breaking News: King Charles Diagnosed With Cancer

There’s British Royal Family breaking news coming out of Buckingham Palace. According to reports, the King of England has been diagnosed with cancer. This comes one week after King Charles was hospitalized at The London Clinic for his enlarged prostate. His daughter-in-law, Kate Middleton, was also at the same hospital for her abdominal surgery. Royal Breaking News: King Charles Diagnosed With Cancer

Buckingham Palace released a statement on Monday that said King Charles has been diagnosed with cancer. However, very few details were given surrounding the king’s condition and what this means for the royal family.

The statement reads: “During The King’s recent hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement, a separate issue of concern was noted. Subsequent diagnostic tests have identified a form of cancer.”

It also said, “His Majesty has today commenced a schedule of regular treatments, during which time he has been advised by doctors to postpone public-facing duties.”

King Charles wanted to share his diagnosis with the world in the hopes that “ it may assist public understanding for all those around the world who are affected by cancer.”

Royal Family News: Prince William Is Expected Back To Work

King Charles has made no additional comments about the matter but the statement comes just as it was also reported that his son Prince William is headed back to work. The palace has made no indication on whether or not King Charles will be scaling back his duties, if he will abdicate, and whether or not his son will take the throne.

The news comes as a huge blow to the royal family, seeing how Sarah Ferguson has just announced that she has also been diagnosed with skin cancer as well. This came after the Duchess of York successfully fought her breast cancer diagnosis as well.  What’s more, Kate Middleton isn’t expected to be seen in public for several months as she is recuperating from her abdominal surgery.
