Royal Expert Reveals Prince Harry And Meghan Will Target Media & Royal Family In Documentary

Let’s just say that the Sussexes’ upcoming documentary will sting some people, and it’s consciously designed to do so. Omid Scobie’s report about Prince Harry and Meghan’s target in their Netflix documentary is coming on the heels of claims that the couple are scrambling to edit the project to remove harsh criticisms of Harry’s family.

Since Harry’s memoir was announced, royal experts have predicted that it’ll be another means for Harry to target his family for all the wrongs he perceived were done to him by them. Camilla, especially, is the one they guessed would be his punching bag in the “wholly truthful” memoir.

However, Omid Scobie, who has been regarded as a journalist friend of the pair, said that the presumption that the Sussexes’ upcoming works, which includes a memoir and a still unannounced documentary, is wrong.

“While it has long been (inaccurately) reported that a forthcoming Netflix docuseries and memoir will be the source of ‘attacks’ against Royal Family members, the reality of both projects will actually see their harshest aims taken at the British press,” Scobie writes in his latest column for Yahoo! News.

To support Scobie’s claims, Harry has been aggressive towards British media, especially Associated Papers, the publishers of the Daily Mail, Mail On Sunday and Mail Online. In his youth, he’s been known to tackle paparazzi, but now, he seems to want to use the right channels to battle them.

Just recently, alongside Elton John, Elizabeth Hurley and Sadie Frost, Prince Harry sued Associated Papers for a number of reasons, including “Hiring private investigators to put listening devices in cars and homes”.

“There is a risk that this, like previous cases, could see retaliative press attacks against him and his family… but he sees a bigger cause here, one he hopes can bring positive change to the media landscape,” a source told Scobie.
