British Royal News says that anyone could have predicted this. There’s a new report that says Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have opted not to spend Christmas with the rest of the royal family.

Instead, they’ll be spending holiday at home in California with their two children, Archie and Lilibet. Here’s what you need to know.

Omid Scobie was one of the first royal journalists to announce the news. He said on Twitter, “Carrying on. Kensington Palace confirm that members of the Royal Family—including King Charles and Camilla, Queen Consort—will join the Wales’ at Princess Kate’s ‘Together At Christmas’ carol service at Westminster Abbey on December 15.”

Of course, one of the reasons why Harry and Meghan would probably feel awkward at the Christmas table with the rest of the royals is because their new Netflix docuseries is about to drop. Netflix has released a second trailer for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s explosive new docuseries, ‘Harry and Meghan.’

The first three episodes will drop on Thursday, December 8th while the second half of the series will come out on December 15th. In the second trailer, Prince Harry can be heard as saying, “There’s leaking but also the planting of stories. It’s a dirty game.”

Royal Family News – What’s Next For Harry And Meghan?

While no one knows exactly who Harry might be referring to, there’s speculation that he might be putting the blame directly on his brother Prince William. During the Sussexes interview with Oprah Winfrey back in March 2021, Harry did talk about an “invisible contract” that the royal family had with the royal rota.

Apparently, members of the monarchy work closely with some members of the press in an agreement that works for both sides. There’s speculation that royal family members give certain journalists access to both their personal and professional lives just so they can write favorable things about them in the press.
