Prince William, Harry ‘Blindsided’ By Duchess Camilla News!
Duchess Camilla just learned that she will earn a new title, Queen Consort, when her husband Prince Charles takes over the throne. And although Camilla and Charles feel thrilled, the news has divided the rest of the royal family. For instance, Prince William and Prince Harry feel “blindsided,” royal expert Christopher Andersen told Us magazine.
But the royal brothers at least have united over this emotion. And while that might mend the rift between Will and Harry, the news about Camilla has “driven a wedge” in the royal family, according to Andersen. As a result, he suspects that the Duke of Cambridge and Duke of Sussex may never “get over this bad feeling” toward Camilla.
And the problems don’t end there. For instance, the two also share concern for Queen Elizabeth’s health. And that concern resulted in questions about what she meant by her sudden announcement that Duchess Camilla will become Queen Consort. Does the Queen plan to step down soon, turning the throne over to Charles and Camilla?

“I can tell you right now that the boys were completely blindsided by this,” emphasized Anderson. But the Queen, 95, seemed determined to ignore any objections when she made her announcement about Camilla, 74. And she asked for all to give Charles and Camilla “the same support that you have given me” when he becomes king.
Prince Charles ‘Relentlessly’ Pushed For Wife Camilla Title
But behind the scenes, Anderson claims that Prince Charles pushed his mother to give the title of Queen Consort to Camilla. And the royal family expert called Charles ruthless in his passion for his wife’s title. As a result of Charles “relentlessly” pressing his mother, “Charles just wore her down,” summed up Anderson.
But the royal family expert believes that Prince Philip’s death played a role in the Queen’s decision about the title. For instance, Charles reportedly used his mother’s emotions over her husband’s passing to “make it clear to the queen that he too needs [a partner].” And Charles also allegedly insisted that in order to reign successfully, he will need the same type of support that Queen Elizabeth got from Prince Philip.
But while Prince Harry and Prince William reel in shock at the announcement, Charles stepped up to express appreciation for Camilla in public. And he also joined his wife in congratulating the Queen on her decades of service. “On this historic day, my wife and I join you all in congratulating Her Majesty The Queen on the remarkable achievement of serving this nation, the Realms and Commonwealth for seventy years,” he stated. “We are deeply conscious of the honor represented by my mother’s wish. As we have sought together to serve and support Her Majesty and the people of our communities, my darling wife has been my own steadfast support throughout.”
