She And Camilla Parker Bowles Share A Secret From The Past

Not only are Princess Anne and Prince Charles siblings, but apparently they dated within the same circle of social friends back in the day. While it’s always been suggested that Prince Harry had his eye on Camilla Parker Bowles before he married Princess Diana, Princess Anne had in fact dated Andrew Parker Bowles, who later went on to marry Camilla.

She Was The Target Of A Kidnapping Plot

Princess Anne could easily be a Bond Girl because she is without a doubt the most fierce member of the royal family. She was the target of a kidnapping plot in 1974. She was attacked by her would-be kidnapper while in the back of a Rolls-Royce but managed to escape unscathed.

She Was The First Member Of The Royal Family To be Nominated For A Nobel Prize

While Princess Anne might not have been in the spotlight as much as her other royal siblings, she did get a long of attention for the tireless work she did for the Save the Children charity. Her work had even inspired President Kenneth Kaunda of Zambia to nominate her for a Nobel Peace Prize.

She Is The Hardest Working Member Of The Monarchy

Princess Anne has always been known as the hardest working member of the royal family, as she consistently does the most amount of royal engagements and public appearances every year. She also competed in the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal as an Equestrian athlete.

She Was Convicted Of A Criminal Offense

Back in 2002, Prince Anne pleaded guilty to a charged under the Dangerous Dogs Act when her English bull terrier Dotty bit two children. She pleads guilty and was fined $650.
