On Saturday a military veteran alleged that Prince William’s horse looked “drugged” during a rehearsal for Trooping the Colour, the signature Jubilee event.
William, the Duke of Cambridge, was on a black Household Division charger named George, when he went through the practice inspection in London. The person present at the Colonel’s Review told MailOnline that, “William’s horse looks drugged. Its head is on the floor. It’s a disgrace.”

A Clarence House spokesman declined to comment on the allegation. Despite the accusation, William looked smart in a red and blue military uniform outfitted with medals galore. The horses of the Household Cavalry that are in the parade have special training to become desensitized to distractions such as noise and traffic.
On the Queen’s birthday on June 2 the Household Division troops march and ride with Her Majesty usually attending and taking the salute. This year she has delegated that task to her son and heir Prince Charles.
This year Charles the Prince of Wales, William the Duke of Cambridge and Anne the Princess Royal will ride in the parade as colonels of the Welsh Guards, the Irish Guards and the Blues and Royals.
Royal Family News – Prince William Has A Drugged Horse?
Today it was only William who practiced. Last week on May 21 there was another snafu, as two people were hospitalized and three needed treatment from paramedics after a stand collapsed at the Trooping the Colour rehearsal.
The shocking event took place in front of a crowd of stunned onlookers in London, at around 11am. Witnesses reported part of the stand collapsed, causing at least one person to fall. The stand was then evacuated with two people taken to the hospital and three others treated at the scene.
It has been revealed that for the first time in 70 years the Queen will not take the royal salute at the Trooping the Colour. She has had ongoing mobility issues but it has been announced that she will take pride of place on the palace balcony twice during the Jubilee, which is two more times than disgraced princes Harry and Andrew.
