Royal Family News: Prince Andrew’s Lawyers Plan to Question Accuser’s Husband
Roberts has brought a civil suit against Andrew in New York for, “battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress after was trafficked by Epstein and forced to have sex with Andrew, 61, on three occasions when she was 17.”
Roberts and her husband live in Australia and Judge Lewis Kaplan has written to Australia’s Attorney General to ask for his help in arranging an interview with Roberts’ husband, Robert Giuffre.
Prince Andrew Invokes The Hague Convention
The Mirror reported that judge said Andrew’s lawyers want to ask Giuffre about, “the couple’s living arrangements in Australia, any conversations he has had with his wife about the duke, her ‘alleged childhood abuse’ and aspects of her income.”
Andrew’s lawyers stated they wished to ask him specifically about his wife’s, “role in recruiting and trafficking underage girls for Epstein.”
The judge also asked for help in setting up an interview with Roberts’ therapist Judith Lightfoot. According to the outlet, the lawyers want details about her medical treatment, diagnosis, and medical history. The interviews are scheduled for April 29.

Yesterday Judge Kaplan also approved requests for four individuals to be interviewed in the UK and Australia. Additionally, Roberts’ lawyers have asked British legal authorities to assist in securing an interview with Andrew’s former equerry, Major Robert Olney, reportedly to ascertain, “Andrew’s dealings with Epstein.”
It’s been reported that they also wish to interview Shukri Walker, who claims to have seen Roberts with Andrew at a London nightclub in 2001, “after which Miss Roberts claims she had to have sex with him.” Andrew has denied the claims against him.
