Diana worked for the Robertson’s for three days a week, and get this—she earned a mere $5-an-hour! When Diana wasn’t babysitting she worked as a nursery school teacher on her off days.

Robertson stated that she had no idea of Diana’s aristocratic background, separate from Charles and the royals. She also didn’t know that the teenager was dating Prince Charles at the time. In 2017 she told Inside Edition, “that she only learned about the romance when Diana warned her about paparazzi photographers who were camped outside the Robertson home.”

“She said, “When you leave for work this morning, there are reporters and photographers at the end of the street,”‘ Robertson said. ‘I asked, “Who are they there for?” She said, “They are there for me.”
