Royal Family News – Meghan Markle Wanted Label, Title, and Money
Royal Family news reveals, according to News AU, Meghan “never wanted to stay” in the Royal Family. During Sunday’s episode of GB News’ Real Britain with Darren Grimes British author Tom Bower claimed that the Duchess of Sussex had only been after “money” and “status.”
“That’s exactly why she left because she never wanted to really stay,” Bower said, adding, “She wanted the label, she wanted the title, she wanted the money – she didn’t get so much money – but she did get the status. And now she’s set on building herself up in America.”
Was Meghan Markle Hunting – For A Man In England?
As royal watchers will know, this isn’t Bower’s first attack on Markle’s motives for marrying Prince Harry. In fact, earlier this month he appeared on The Megyn Kelly Show claiming that Meghan “always wanted celebrity” but, he said, she “always wants to control the narrative.”
Later in the podcast, Bower said, “Anyone who gets in the way with her is ghosted and attacked, and Harry has become hypersensitive and hates the media and yet seeks approval from the media by going on Netflix or Spotify or Apple TV – “The contradictions and hypocrisy are enormous.”
The royal biographer also asserted that Meghan had been “hunting for a man in England” in the wake of her divorce from film producer Trevor Engelson in 2013. According to Bower, who claimed that Meghan had “targeted” Harry, “she wanted wealth, and she wanted fame.”

Royal watchers will remember last year when Meghan did an interview with famed talk show host Oprah Winfrey where she claimed she had not received any support from the Royal Family and that she had even contemplated suicide.”
In the wake of that interview, the Sussexes have signed lucrative deals with streaming mega giants Spotify and Netflix. Harry, for his part, is expected to release a memoir about his life as a royal next year and the Royal Family is “hugely nervous” about it (via Page Six).
