Royal Family News: Concern Prince Andrew’s Memorial Appearance Signals A CREEP Back

British royal family news shows that arguably the two most disgraced senior royals garnered the lion’s share of attention at Prince Philip’s memorial today at Westminster Abbey.
Notorious Hollywood Harry made sure that the world knew he would not attend unless he was treated in the same manner as the reigning monarch, Philip’s widow, Queen Elizabeth. Needless to say, he was a no-show, branded “pathetic” for using security concerns as the excuse for his bad behavior.
Royal Family News – Harry Was A No-Show
Harry’s equal in the disgraced department is Prince Andrew and he more than made up for Harry’s absence by being front and center as his mother’s escort. Earlier this month Andrew paid millions to a woman who accused him of sexual assault. He did so via an out-of-court settlement rumored to be funded by his mother and brother Prince Charles.
Royal watcher Richard Kay reports that Andrew’s primary role will have, “consequences … far beyond the perimeter of the ancient Abbey.”
No one disputed he should pay homage to his father—but his being a focal point was bad optics that went down hard for many, with the other seniors reportedly snubbing Andrew.

Kay notes, “Sitting with his daughters in the largely anonymous second tier of family members was one thing, striding center stage as his mother’s liegeman was potentially perilous.”
Andrew has been banished from royal life, stripped of his military titles and patronages, and banned from using ‘His Royal Highness’ title.
Thus, “his proximity to the Queen at yesterday’s thanksgiving has provoked dismay at the Palace.”

According to Kay, the bold appearance has provoked the fear that Andrew will attempt to “creep” back to the limelight after his eviction from the front line. Andrew is thought to be the queen’s favorite child—was this a simple statement of, “the Queen putting motherhood ahead of monarchy?”

Whatever her reasoning, one thing is clear: behind the scenes, Prince Andrew is seemingly the only one who wants his return to public duty. Then again, if the queen can decree that former public enemy number one, Camilla, be made queen, is there a road back to redemption for Andrew as well?
Nazir Afzal is the former chief crown prosecutor for north-west England and his comment mirrors the sentiment of many: “I’m all for rehabilitation but it starts with facing justice, accepting responsibility, and working to rebuild victims’ confidence. None of that is present here so far,” as regards Andrew.

Amazing. He should not be front and center in the Royal family. With the unrest about the Crown in other countries, he should stay out of the lime light. The Queen may forgive him but the country does not. Same for Harry.
Prince Andrew, appeared long enough, at his Mother's, HMTQ's, request, to pay his respects to his deceased Father and to help Her, but now " he should go back into his box"…and he really should stay there, out of sight, and out of the limelight from now on. There will always be "a question mark" above Andrew, as his innocence is in question…"Randy Andy" has a negative reputation…we will never know the absolute truth regarding his behaviour…best for Prince Andrew to just fade into the shadows, along with his party hardy wife Sarah, and let that be an end to it all…hopefully!!!! IMHO!!!
Parading someone invoved in a sexual abuse scandal on your arm sends a clear message, abuse towards people doesn't matter. We are always being told what jewelry the Queen wears is to convey special messages. So this conveys the message the Queen doesn't have enough respect for people to have her son who is involved in such a revolting scandal attend events in a respectful, sympathetic and sensitive manner to her people. I can see actions like this being the justification for those people who see the monarchy as self-serving and outdated to be abolished. Im on the fence about royalty but I did respect up until now the Queen. This action has made me question does the Queen really care about her people or are we just here to pay homage and taxes whilst the monarchy parade their family who are involved in scandals about like their actions are above the law.
The Royals handlers seem to be way off line at the moment! Perhaps replacements need to be made. Whilst I feel Andrew was entitled to be at his father's memorial it should have been on a discreet and respectful to the public level. How awful is it for suffers of abuse to see abusers, especially those who have avoided justice be permitted to perform such public displays of importance. I assume the people of the UKs taxes paid for this (among them suffers of abuse) so what an insult, talk about rubbing salt. Is the Queen losing her judgment too making such an error in judgment. If they want to keep their position/ monarchy this is a strange way to go about it! The other recent error has been William and Kates recent visit to the Bahamas. I don't believe for one moment they suddenly thought we fancy a holiday. Whatever bunch of idiots set that up didn't do their homework did they! I think some advisors need to go or the monarchy likely will, with insensitive situations like these recently.
