Royal Family news reveals that, according to Marie Claire, Buckingham Palace released its first portrait of the new Royal Family core; King Charles III, Camilla, Queen Consort, Prince William, and Kate, Princess of Wales. Missing from the photo, as well as from the event in which it was taken, were the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
The event in question was a reception held a Buckingham Palace for government leaders and royals from around the world. It went down the night before Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral and Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle were uninvited.

Just two days hence, on Monday, British photographer Misan Harriman released images of the duke and duchess taken at the One Young World Summit on September 5. The summit was one of the engagements Harry and Meghan tackled while in the UK a week prior to Her Majesty’s death on September 8.
It was the timing of the photo release that raised some eyebrows and, according to a report from Page Six, it could have been a snub to the Royal Family. Royal expert Tome Bower weighed in on the matter.
Is Meghan Markle‘s Only Interest – Meghan?
The Royal biographer and author of the book “Revenge: Meghan, Harry, and the War Between the Windsors,” told the outlet, “It was all about, we’re back now on course to build Brand Meghan and the book, the Netflix series, the podcast,” adding, “Everything is money. And to their advantage, they were in the public eye for seven days during the funeral or more, every day they were filmed.”

Speaking of Meghan Markle, Bower said, “you know, she has really got one interest and that’s Meghan, and the casualties are the royal family and, as far as she’s concerned, that’s terrific.” He told that outlet that while the Sussex’s avoided the public during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, the duke and duchess were center stage during the days following the late monarch’s death.

Back in the US, Harry and Meghan were spotted on a date night at a Jack Johnson concert according to PEOPLE Magazine. Worth noting is that Harriman also shot the couple’s pregnancy photos they used to announce the impending arrival of baby Lilibet in 2021.
