Like countless users, Samantha has been using her Twitter account to air her opinion of the former game show host for years. Years. So, was it a coincidence that Samantha’s ban happened after right after BuzzFeed News ran an article dissecting Samantha’s online comments about Meghan? To be totally transparent, the reporter admitted that when she was ignored after seeking comment from Samantha, she got on a plane and flew unannounced to the private citizen’s house, knocked on the door, then shamed Samantha’s husband in print for answering the door shirtless. High journalism?

To be clear, “the ban came days after the parental half-sister of the Duchess of Sussex said she is suing Meghan over her interview with American TV legend Oprah Winfrey last year,” according to The News.

Is there a rule for big headed celebrities and another for average people? Harry and Meghan have made suing an art form—this is America where everyone is accorded freedom of speech. But tellingly, Harry called that freedom “bonkers” and has advocated for cleansing the internet, as has Meghan. That is a chilling thought to many and, “royal fans and pro-monarchy journalists are criticizing Twitter’s decision to ban Samantha.”
