British royal family news shows that the monarchy is a complicated tangle of lords and ladies, dukes and commoners, and there are plenty of titles to go around to signify who’s who. If it sounds like a pecking order that’s because it is, something the American commoners Prince Harry is trying to hold sway over don’t give a fig about.

Prince Harry absconded from the monarchy but still refers to himself as Duke of This and Prince of That, an ingrained habit that illustrates just how much the Brits lust over their naming rights.

Which is why those to whom it matters might idle away the hours wondering if and when they, too, might receive a coveted title of some sort. After all who wants to rub elbows at the dinner table with Joe Nobody when one can clink glasses with the Duke of Earl?

That brings us to the children of Camilla Parker Bowles. She is married to the heir to the throne, Prince Charles and great speculation has arisen in the kingdom as to what titles her offspring might receive when their stepdad ascends the throne.
