Royal Family News: Do Camilla’s Kids Deserve Royal Titles Because She Will Be Queen?

British royal family news shows that the saying, ‘it’s not what you know but who you know,’ may soon be on display in the UK monarchy. Why so? Royal experts have gone on the record to state that there is a, “very probable,” likelihood that Camilla’s two adult children from a former marriage will become royals, “once their mother ascends the throne alongside her husband Prince Charles.”

Camilla is Charles’ second wife and in the court of public opinion she was once half a notch below Cruella DeVille. Last month her fortunes took a great turn when Charles’ mother, Queen Elizabeth, made a stunning statement about her DIL’s future.

On February 6, the queen made it known that she wished the woman once scorned as a home wreaker, be given the title queen consort, not the lesser moniker princess consort, when Charles becomes king. Overnight, years’ worth of anxiety and angst seemed to wash away, as the queen’s blessing gave the public permission to accept the woman who in their minds displaced beloved Princess Diana.

Camilla has gone out of her way to avoid the spotlight. The media painted her in harsh tones and she was often the villain in the pantomime. And yet her earnest reluctance to show off, and her measured acts of charity, were obvious. One sensed that the public wanted to forgive her after all this time, to let go of the animosity, and the queen’s statement was a reason to do so

But do her kids deserve honors just because their mother earned one by marrying into royalty? Royal expert Brian Hoey told Express UK, “we have never, ever had children of a King or Queen who remained untitled,” thus there is a good chance Camilla’s kids will be awarded titles.

“I think what will be interesting when Camilla becomes Queen, is what happen with her children. We have never, ever had children of a King or Queen who remained untitled – so that will be interesting.” Especially when the question revolves around the, “Parker-Bowles children being elevated?”

He also added, “I think they are bound to get some sort of a title. Charles, even though he said he wants to be a modernizer, he is also a traditionalist, very much a realist. He quite likes ceremonial and he believes in the honor system in Britain and I think he will do whatever he feels it’s the correct formal thing to do at the time.”
