In fact, their sister has a brother, which means they have two additional step-siblings, the daughter and son of Camilla and her first husband.

William and Harry’s parents, Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana, divorced in 1996. Diana died in a car accident in 1997 and Charles, the Prince of Wales, remarried Camilla nine years later. Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, has two children from a previous marriage to Andrew Parker Bowles. Her son Tom was born in 1974, and her daughter, Laura, was born in 1978.

Both Prince William and Harry attended her wedding in 2006, and when William married Kate Laura’s daughter, Eliza, was one of their bridesmaids. More recently it has been claimed that Charles will give titles to Tom and Laura when he and Camilla take over the reins from Queen Elizabeth. That has caused some raised eyebrows, as neither was born into the royal family and some traditionalists argue such an act would be blatant favoritism. Others argue that there has never been a child of a monarch without a title, and agree with Charles’ alleged intention.
