Royal Family News: Elite Prince Harry Mocked As Choice To Deliver Speech About Nelson Mandela

Royal Family News: Elite Prince Harry Mocked As Choice To Deliver Speech About Nelson MandelaBritish royal family news shows pampered party boy Prince Harry was chosen as the perfect person to be a UN keynote speaker at an event honoring Nelson Mandela. The ludicrous decision was rightfully roasted around the world, including by an indignant South African newspaper that mockingly, “compared the prince’s plight to that of the civil rights hero.”

Royal Family News: Harry Is Out of His League

Harry was out of his league delivering a 15 minute speech in New York City on, “climate change, disinformation, the war on Ukraine, COVID and the decision by SCOTUS to reverse Roe vs Wade.” Luckily the victims were few. The Daily Mail described the audience as “sparse” and that was a hilarious exaggeration—besides Meghan there were a couple of people.

The South African newspaper The Sunday Times was among those not applauding the decision to have the chicken whisperer speak on topics he likely can’t spell.

Royal Family News: Harry Is a Player

Editor-at-Large Aspasia Karras wrote of the pitiful situation fronted by the Duke of L.A.: “He’s in exile. Just like Madiba. No, sorry, of course, he was imprisoned for 27 years on Robben Island. Same, same-ish. Harry is imprisoned in his gilded pleasure palace in Montecito with a podcast schedule and documentary team following him around.”

Along the way Karras brought up Harry and Meghan’s family-tossing Oprah Winfrey interview, as well as Megxit: “You know what? They just had to leave. It was too much to bear,” she wrote of their all expense paid lifestyle at the palace.

Royal Family News: Harry Is An Odd Choice

The editor also toasted the UN writing, “I think Harry is a perfect fit, what with the UN being such a very effective organization for world peace. I’m really pleased he can grab hold of the global spotlight on such an important day, when we remember the sacrifices Mandela made for all of us and our rights. OK? But especially for Harry’s right to a security entourage. That will show them.”

In case you weren’t there, this was among the intellectual rhetoric Harry dispensed on Monday: “Our world is on fire!”

Reader comments summed up Harry and Meghan’s pitiful play for relevancy with one writing, “Harry & Meghan… BIGGEST JOKES AROUND!!!,” and another posting, “He’ll go down in history as The Royal Idiot.” But hey, the UN likes them and they’re the most relevant entity around, right?
