Royal Family News – Did Meghan Markle Save Prince Harry From Royal Life?
Royal Family news reveals that, according to The List, ever since their engagement in 2017, the Duke and Duchess have continued to be under severe scrutiny. That situation only compounded when the royal couple decided to step down from their royal duties in 2020 and moved across the pond to the United States.
Sources, of course, revealed that the prince had been unhappy with his life as a royal, even before meeting Markle. However, Valentine Low, in his new book “Couriers” paints Markle in a poor light writing that Prince Harry really wanted to escape the prison of palace life.
Low says that Markle extended the prince “the greatest kindness anyone could do to him” in helping “to take him out of the Royal Family,” per Express UK. The source revealed that Harry was “just desperately unhappy in the last couple of years of his working life,” adding that they knew he wasn’t happy but didn’t know what to do. Low explains that “[Meghan] came along and found the solution.”
In The Shadow Of Princess Diana
Page Six reports that royal biographer and author of “Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the War Between the Windsors” Tom Bower said that Harry, 38, is “damaged” and “very disturbed” as a result of childhood trauma and, according to him, Markle knew how to win him over.
“He is psychologically harmed both by his mother’s death and the father’s treatment of his mother, and of Harry himself, when he was a child,” Bower reportedly alleged. Prince Harry’s rough life, along with the rest of the Royal Family, has been intensely scrutinized for years.
Report: Meghan Markle Carefully Researched Prince Harry
Worth noting is that, though Markle had claimed to know nothing of Prince Harry when the two met on a blind date, Bower wrote in “Revenge” that the “Suits” veteran carefully researched the duke before meeting him in person on their first date at the Soho House’s Dean Street Townhouse in 2016.
“Her genius was that before she ever met him, she carefully researched him and as an intelligent woman with a lot of experience, knew exactly what buttons to press,” Bower claimed (via Page Six). Bower emphasized that Harry was miserable as a working royal and Markle simply offered him a way out. And now, Harry “clings” to the Duchess of Sussex “like a needy man, like a life raft.”
