Speculation has been rife over whether or not they will have a baptism in the US or if they will be asked to fly back to the UK for the christening. Various theories have arisen, let’s take a look at a few of them and their viability.

Prince Harry Will Be Asked To Not Return?

According to the Telegraph Lili will not be christened in the U.K. One insider told the outlet, “There will not be a christening in the U.K. It is not happening,” and another source confirmed that a U.K. christening was not in the cards or, “highly unlikely.”

The PR team for the thirsty pair piped up to say wait a minute, no plans for have been finalized and that any claims to the contrary are, “mere speculation.”

Perhaps this is to save face as they reportedly wanted an official royal baptism with the queen present! After they ran away from home, they still make demands of their elders apparently.

Prince William Has Common Sense

It was reported that Prince William put the kibosh on this fantasy, with one outlet reporting that he put his foot down to Harry’s indulgent demands.

That doesn’t mean that Meghan and Harry won’t christen Lili in the U.K. but it does seem to mean that if they do so it will not be with the royal pomp and circumstance they seem to feel they deserve.

And, if the christening occurs in the US, one royal expert thinks it unlikely that any senior royals will fly in to attend. Make no mistake, this is not about Lili who is an innocent in the matter, but a statement about her bratty parents and their penchant for dragging his family in public.

Royal Schedules Are Fixed In Advance

According to royal watcher Ingrid Seward, “If Lilibet is christened in America, maybe Harry’s friends would fly out. I don’t think any members of the immediate Royal Family would have time.” She told The Sun that, “their schedules are organized six months in advance.”

Seward went on to say that she’d be, “very surprised,” if Meghan and Harry had the christening in the US. She noted that Harry has experienced a, “long tradition” of royal christenings. This includes his son Archie who was baptized before his parents abandoned the royal clan.
