The self-proclaimed humanitarian was anything but humane when she pulled up stakes to move to England and left her previously cherished rescue dog, Bogart, behind. He simply didn’t fit into her plans—so much for giving Bogart a forever home.

#2 Meghan Markle Is Estranged From Her Family

Meghan Markle has a reputation for tossing aside what she no longer wants, case in point being her rescue dog as well as her family and friends who disappoint her. Since becoming a royal Meghan no longer speaks to her half-sister Samantha Markle nor her father Thomas Markle. Samantha told Radar Online in 2016, “The royal family would be appalled by what she’s done to her own family … The truth would kill her relationship with Prince Harry, he wouldn’t want to date her anymore because it puts her in a bad public light.”

#3 Meghan Markle’s First Divorce Was Shocking

Meghan Markle was once married to movie producer Trevor Engelson. Like many relationships in Meghan’s life, her marriage to Trevor was short-lived. The couple split in 2013 and was so abrupt that even Markle’s former (former!) best friend, Ninaki Priddy told the Daily Mail, “The way she handled it, Trevor definitely had the rug pulled out from under him.
