Royal Family News: Has Piers Morgan Gone Too Far With Meghan Markle This Time?

Royal Family critics believe Piers Morgan needs to pipe down a little. This comes after the former Good Morning Britain host slammed Meghan Markle after reports said that she is writing a children’s book called The Bench. It’s about Prince Harry and Archie’s father and son relationship. Apparently, Piers thinks that Meghan is the last person who should write about family values.

Royal Family Critics Say Piers Morgan Has Gone Too Far In His Criticism

Shortly after it was announced that Meghan would be writing a children’s book about fatherhood, Piers lashed out with, “If she really cared about father-child relationships, she’d take a chauffeur-driven limousine on the hour-long trip to see her own father who’s never even met either, Harry or Archie. And if she really cared about father-child relationships, she would never have trashed Harry’s family on global TV in the horrible way that she did, causing yet more damage, possibly irreparably, to Harry’s relationship with his father.”

Of course, it didn’t take long at all for both royal family fans and critics to weigh in on the matter. Many of them took to their social media accounts to write, “Piers Morgan needs to be blocked from all forms of social media. His obsessive bullying of Meghan & Harry, as well as just about everyone else, is terribly offensive,” along with, “Piers Morgan is sick with obsession. Low on talent, now he has nothing else to write or talk about. When will the Daily Mail be printing those apologies to Meghan? Is it this week or next?”

British Royal Family News: Will Piers Ever Stop?

Another critic wrote, “You don’t have to be a Meghan Markle fan to find something distinctly unsavory in Morgan’s obsession with her. I’m no fan of either of them but if it were any other middle-aged man behaving like this to any other young woman, it would be classed as stalking.”

Now, whether or not Piers Morgan will give Meghan Markle a break remains to be seen. But for now, it seems like his full-time job is clearly criticizing everything that the Duchess of Sussex does or says. So far Piers himself has not made any comments about the criticism.

So telling the truth that Megs is a pathological lying narcissist and Harry is racist is wrong. You must be Republicans or Qanon!

Piers is speaking up and saying what is absolutely true. He's not going to be taken in by Nut-Meg's lies and antics, and he is trying to warn the public about the same.

Well Meghan sure did tell lies in that interview, either she never understood the way the royal family works or did not bother to learn while living in England.

    As usual, Piers is right.

I think that Pierce Morgan is right. One has to accept the fact that, like everybody else, he has the right of freedom of speech. I am of the same opinion when it comes to Meghan Markle, she is a social climber, she wanted to do what she had known from Hollywood, didn't want to accept the royal rules, and, what's worse, she succeeded in having Harry part with his family. I have never seen, in any pictures after they left the UK, Prince Harry smiling. Never, and he used to be such a bubbly character.

Although Piers Morgan can be bullish, he does say what appears to be true about MM. I do wish he could soften his commentary a tad! Prince Harry is still royal and he has his chosen family! Leave them alone; do not mention them and perhaps they will find themselves wanting. As it is now, they are wanting for nothing!

I believe people are entitled to their opinion as long as they keep it civil and honest. I think perhaps more people might listen and consider Mr Morgan's issues with Megan and Harry if they were a little less like rants and more like rational and objective criticisms. I find Harry and Megan repulsive and dishonest but my opinions are based on their behaviour nothing more. Some of Mr Morgan's comments seem to based on unrequited friendship. Like Oprah, Mr Morgan is gaining attention and probably making money from this couple, so I guess it's lucrative for him. Personally I would prefer neither Oprah or Morgan to report on this couple because Oprah has proven she is happy to give sanction to their untruths, and Morgan is too emotionally hurt by Megan's dismissal of his offer of friendship.

Amen. I'm disappointed in Oprah and although I agree with Piers 100% it's time for him to leave them alone. The less publicity they get, good OR bad, the better. Let them fade into irrelevance just as Wallis and Edward did, so many years ago.

I am disappointed with Oprah too. I had previously thought she was serious about getting the facts and truth's of a situation, but all Oprah seemed interested in was getting a sensationalized pity story, regardless of whether or not any of it was true. She made no effort to question rediculous statements. Why didn't she for example ask Megan why Harry or even her mother didn't help her to seek medical help for her allegations of mental struggles. Harry considers himself capable of being a poster child for mental health awareness, but he didn't help his own wife in mental crisis! That story amongst others didn't add up, but instead of questioning these suspicious statements, like a professional, Oprah just complicity let these dubious allegations go unchecked. By letting her friends go on though she did, probably unintentionally show them to be just as guilty of Fake News as the press they are so fond of calling out. I would love them to fade away like Edward and Wallis, you make a good point.

I think Piers Morgan is pissed off because Megan apparently "Ghosted" him. This is his revenge.
