British royal family news reveals that Duchess Kate and Meghan Markle could be trying to put an end to the reported estrangement the family have experienced after the latter’s insertion. A source told Us Weekly that the women have reached a sort of détente.

“Tensions have eased between Meghan and Kate,” the insider says. “Kate even sent Meghan a gift for the baby. They’re in a better place and have exchanged texts since the birth of Lilibet.”

This would be welcome news after trash talking Meghan threw Kate under the bus not once but twice during the now infamous Oprah Winfrey tell-all in March. Meghan called her SIL Waity Katey and nattered on about how the Duchess of Cambridge supposedly made her cry once.

All reports up to that point indicated that it was the other way around, and many of Meghan’s other bombshells from that interview have been discredited.

But according to Meghan, “The narrative with Kate, it didn’t happen. A few days before the wedding she was upset about flower girl dresses and it made me cry. It really hurt my feelings.”

During the same interview Meghan claimed that the Archbishop broke his code of ethics by marrying her and Harry in their backyard. Needless to say the man of the cloth denied such a ludicrous assertion, and Meghan has never explained why she would say such a thing.

For whatever reason, an insider is now claiming that the pair have mended fences from halfway around the world. “The bridesmaids dress incident took place so long ago and [it] feels pointless to hold onto the anger. It’s wasted energy. They’ve called it truce.”

Royal Family News – Kate Middleton Is In Isolation

The chatty source went on to clack, “The birth of Lili has brought Kate and Meghan closer together. They’ve bonded over both having daughters and can’t wait for all the cousins to meet.”

Of course this whole narrative benefits one of the women much more than the other, and so far Kate has not commented on the story. At this time she is in isolation after being exposed to a COVID-positive person. It seems unlikely she or someone from her camp would be busy themselves talking to news outlets about Meghan, doesn’t it? Just saying.
