Royal Family News: Here’s Why Neither Princess Anne Nor Prince Charles Are ‘Crown’ Worthy

British royal family news reveals that a body language expert is spilling the beans on Princess Anne’s nonverbal cues and we don’t know if the notoriously private royal will approve! Anne’s parents are Queen Elizabeth II, 94, and Prince Philip, 99. It is said her father would have preferred to inherit the throne rather than her older brother Prince Charles, but the monarchy is passed to male heirs, not female heirs.

Part of his reasoning may be her work ethic and toughness, like her father’s. Anne began her royal work duties as a teenager and over time has attended thousands of events and engagements.

Body language expert Judi James scrutinized Anne’s public mannerisms and sees a toughness that Charles does not display. “Anne’s facial expressions often oozed the notion that she would never suffer fools or even weaklings gladly. She looked (and still does) like the kind of tough countrywoman who was a stranger to self-pity or emotional displays.”

“She could come across as a rather daunting presence.”

She notes that, “Photos of her taken with her father years ago show physical closeness, ease and mirroring,” and that she, “was more often seen with her hands on her hips and a determined frown on her face, getting on with jobs like stoking the BBQ or mucking out the horses.”

In contrast, Judi noted that Princess Anne and Prince Charles have vastly different personalities and public personas and believes that Anne shows more confidence in herself.

According to her, “Her body language signals with her brother Charles suggested – almost from birth – that she was the one who had been gifted all the confidence.”

Judi goes on to say that, “While Charles looked dreamy, shy and hesitant Anne looked bubbling with happy self-esteem.”

And likewise, these differing attitudes would show themselves in their leadership said Judi, although not necessarily endorsing either one! Prince Charles will inherit the throne but Judi says that neither Anne nor Charles show body language that screams they are, “naturals for the job of crown-wearing.”

“Charles has managed to overcome some of his body language signals that imply self-pity and either diffidence or arrogance, and replace them with a very kindly-looking eye-wrinkling smile and chuckle that suggests warmth and affection,” she said, adding that, “The thought of an ever-smiling, ever-chuckling Anne is almost inconceivable thought.”
