Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have certainly had a very challenging year, and not just because of their decision to ‘Megxit’ from the royal family. Leaving everything they knew behind to start a new life for themselves in Los Angeles coupled with the global pandemic that has been the coronavirus has certainly given Harry and Meghan a lot of hurdles to overcome.
If that weren’t enough, the royal couple also experienced one of the most devastating losses that any two parents can imagine – Meghan Markle’s miscarriage back in July. With that said, the couple has also given plenty of indications that they may no longer be looking to expand their family in the future. Here are five reasons why.
Meghan’s Unimaginable Pain
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are grieving a child through miscarriage that they would have loved with all their hearts and strengths. “Losing a child means carrying an almost unbearable grief, experienced by many but talked about by few,” she wrote in her op-ed with the New York Times. “Some have bravely shared their stories; they have opened the door, knowing that when one person speaks truth, it gives license for all of us to do the same.”
Prince Harry Is Worried About Climate Change
Prince Harry recently hinted that he doesn’t see the point of having any more children, especially with the climate change and its future so uncertain. In an interview with WaterBear, he talked about how much his outlook on life has changed ever since he and his wife Meghan Markle welcomed their son, Archie Harrison, back in May 2019. He also confessed to his initial reticence to having children by asking, “What’s the point?” as climate change continues to wreak havoc in many parts of the planet.
The Lack Of Family Support
If there’s anything that many parents can agree on, it’s that raising small children without your family’s support is quite tough. While there’s no doubt that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle do have Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland by their side, they are estranged from both the royal family and the extended Markle family.
Royal Conflict
Should Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have another child, this child would still be a part of the British Royal Family, regardless of the fact that Harry and Meghan now live in California. Many royal rules, traditions and protocols would still have to take place, which would make it somewhat challenging seeing how the royals are in London and the Sussexes are in Los Angeles.
An Uncertain Future
With all of the above said, it goes without saying that this last year has been incredibly difficult on everyone, with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle being no exception, as life as we know it has been disrupted because of the Covid-19 pandemic. Perhaps the Duke and Duchess of Sussex just want to wait until the right time before they get pregnant again. But there is only so much time one can wait, right?

Why is there so much publicity about their miscarriage. Other women suffer the same thing and have to deal with it. They need to get over themselves.
He needs to shut his mouth and disappear
They want their cake and to eat it too. Harry and Meghan only want their titles for profits for themselves, they are their only charitable cause. Prince Charles bought the 14 million dollar house in California they live in while they rent Frogmore Cottage to relatives. Harry and Meghan want their
So Meghan screams her Democratic beliefs which includes killing babies up to birth yet she wants to advertise her miscarriage as painful.
Well done Megan, I didn't think it was possible for someone to turn the tragedy of a miscarriage into an opportunity for self promotion with a Harlequin style story of events. Her article disgusted me. I have personally suffered from miscarriage my aunt and uncle suffered worse having 2 children die before reaching 18 months. My cousin a girl died in hospital and my boy cousin died in my uncle's arms. I would prefer this couple kept their attention seeking dramatics to themselves and let the professionals address these matters so as not to offend or upset people like myself and my aunt and uncle.
If Harry and Megan had 10 children their house might be more fitting for a couple who love to crap on about waste and environmental impact. At least the air conditioning, heating and other related emissions wouldn't be wasted on empty rooms.
They need to get over themselves. I've had 4 miscarriages and yes it hurts but I "dusted myself off," and continued on. Tired of hearing about their problems. They need to have some REAL problems in their life like the rest of us. Bet they couldn't handle it very well.
