British royal family news reveals that Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge has been compared to many other royal women, most notably her late mother-in-law Princess Diana. According to one royal watcher, Kate has the It Factor in spades, plus she has something else going for her that not even Diana, let alone Meghan Markle or Sarah Ferguson could lay claim to. Cele Otnes wrote the book Royal Fever and she told Express that there is no denying that Kate is a key member of the monarchy who has won the public’s admiration. According to her, this is, “primarily due to her ability to relate to a younger demographic and one that puts the business of raising her family and remaining healthily connected to her family of origin (her parents and siblings).”

Otnes then went on to say that Kate Middleton is different in another way: “She understands that her duty is to support William, the queen, and the firm as a whole. Consider how drama-free her narrative and her persona have been, compared to Diana, Sarah Ferguson, and Meghan.”

Royal Family News – Kate Middleton Does Not Bring The Drama

Otnes added, “Kate projects a quiet and appropriate glamour. She has no interest in being a celebrity. She does not try and manipulate the media. These contribute her to being a steadying force in the monarchy.”

In contrast, Diana, Meghan, and Sarah have all been the subject of scandalous headlines, of their own making. In particular each one went to the media to spill their guts, which included plenty of grievances. Kate has never used the media to get back at her in-laws and it is impossible to imagine her ever doing so.
