Royal Family News: Invictus Games More Important To Prince Harry Than Philip’s Memorial

British royal family news shows that not only has Harry snubbed Prince Philip’s memorial in favor of fun and games, his wife Meghan is along for the shameless ride. Both thrill seekers will travel to the Netherlands after ranting that it was not safe for them to be in the UK for a family event. It is the Invictus Games next week that will have the honor of their dubious presence.

The so-called Duke and Duchess of Sussex are happy to cross the Atlantic for the games but very publicly refused to be, “with Harry’s family at Westminster Abbey for his grandfather’s service of thanksgiving less than two weeks ago.” According to the Daily Mail, Harry actually took the whole matter to court, demanding that Scotland Yard personally escort his every step.

He may not have got the memo that he is no longer a real royal and no longer living in the UK even, thus not deserving of such perks. Ignorance is bliss.

Meghan And Harry Are Down For Fun And Games

But wait, there’s more! While Harry has time to try and wrangle his way in a high court battle over his security, he also has time for making more silly content about himself. When the hooligans go to the Hague, “the pair will be joined by a Netflix documentary crew for the six-day event.”

“Meghan could even join Harry on stage at the opening ceremony of the games,” as one source suggested there would be, “a big surprise to launch the event.”

The source dished, “Meghan is excited to travel with Harry for the event, which is certainly close to his heart.” What happened to all of their concerns over safety? That was a convenient excuse to avoid his family royal experts suggested—say it isn’t so, Princess Pinocchio caught in a fib?

Harry and Meghan’s little-used Archewell Productions will on hand to tape, “Heart of Invictus,” a Netflix special. We get it now—no one was willing to pay Harry to go to his grandfather’s memorial service, but he is making a buck traveling to the Netherlands.

It all makes sense for the couple who ditched the monarchy, the UK and his family for, “financial freedom.” At least Harry and Meghan are not shy about their true intentions nor where their hearts lay. Maybe their next big production will be called, “Heart of Greed?”
