Royal Family News: Is Kate Middleton “Over Sharing” Experts Speak Out

Kate MiddletonBritish royal family news divulges that Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, is receiving high praise for the way she has stepped into the breech left by disgraced royals and princes Andrew and Harry.

According to royal author Sarah Gristwood, Kate Middleton, “did need to raise the bar, and she has.”

Royal Family News – The Bar Is High With Kate

This year has seen gobsmacking scandal within the monarchy. Last month Prince Andrew made the stupendous decision to settle a sex abuse case out of court. He admitted no liability for the charges of having sex with a minor on three occasions, and paid what is believed to be in the neighborhood of $10 million dollars to his accuser.

Harry has been a royal pain in the you know what since his defection in 2020. His latest move involves more legal action, this time against the Home Office. He claims that he is not safe in the UK and wants the same level of protection afforded only to the queen. If he does not get it he won’t visit—wah wah. Many royal watchers see this as a transparent ruse to stay away.

Royal Family News – Kate Middleton Is A Superstar

It’s against this backdrop that the spotlight shines on Kate Middleton as her role as queen consort inches ever nearer. Queen Elizabeth is 95-years old and was hospitalized late last year for an undisclosed illness. She was diagnosed with Covid a week ago and had to cancel her in-person engagements.

Gristwood told People, “The changing times have required Kate to start to share a bit more. She’s done it carefully enough to be relatable — nothing that would cause controversy and nothing that could be considered oversharing.”

Examples include her riding the slide at the LEGO Foundation Playlab in Denmark last week and sharing that her 8-year-old son, and heir to the throne, Prince George practices his rugby tackling on her.

Kate comes across as a warm and engaging mom to Prince George, Princess Charlotte, 6, and Prince Louis, 3. She was even spotted in a local pub last week talking with her fellow school parents.

Royal Family News – Kate Is Sharing More

Peter Fonagy is the CEO of the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families. Kate is the group’s patron and she has made a positive impression there, too. Fonagy says that Kate, “has really used her own experience [as a parent] as she talks to people, and that gets her a lot of credibility.”

As one royal insider put it, Kate, “comes across exactly as she is: a grounded, smart human being. Watch her in action. She is damn good at it.”
