Royal Family News: Is Prince Harry Changing His Last Name?
Apparently, Harry and Meghan are looking to rebrand themselves. And since they can’t go back to being full-time royals, they want to go in the other direction and become a Spencer.
Tom Bower, who always has something to say about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, told GB News in a new interview that the Sussexes are going to try to get closer to Princess Diana by taking her maiden name, if that makes sense.
He even hinted that this might all be Meghan Markle’s idea seeing how she’s idolized her late mother-in-law all of her life. Changing their last name would just be the icing on the cake for Meghan.

He said, “What is really interesting in the rebranding of the Sussexes that I’ve heard that Meghan’s real objective in her life is to be Diana, that has always been her passion.
That has also been Harry’s passion. Meghan has gone to the extent of suggesting to drop the surname Windsor and take the surname Spencer, so she would be Meghan Spencer. This is not something that has just come up in their minds, they’re actively trying to recast themselves as Harry and Meghan Spencer.
Royal Family News: What’s Next For Prince Harry And Meghan Markle?
Now whether or not Prince Harry and Meghan Markle become Harry and Meghan Spencer remains to be seen. But seeing how there has been so much chatter about how King Charles might strip them of their royal titles, there’s a very good chance that they might go down this route. So far the Sussexes have not made any comments about the matter. Watch this space.
