Royal Family News: Is Prince Harry Really Carrying On Diana’s Legacy

Royal Family News: If Harry Thinks Riding Polo Horses Is Carrying On Diana's Legacy, Think AgainBritish royal family news shows that People magazine is talking up Prince Harry as the second coming of his late mother Princess Diana. The only problem is, he has done nothing to earn that distinction, while Diana walked her talk. Why the desperation to make Harry look good right after he was booed n public—rhetorical question, the answer is painfully obvious.

What is Harry doing with his days and weekends now that he finally has his “freedom” after being treated like a prisoner at the palace where he lived on the taxpayer’s dime? He’s playing the rich man’s sport of polo. Badly, too, as the week before he fell off his high horse and this weekend his team was knocked out of championship contention.

According to People, they are on a mission to explain to the regular folk like you and me, “His journey from schoolboy to Army officer and champion of the charity trail blazed by his mother.”

Royal Family News – Prince Harry Plays Polo All Day

Harry is 37, yet as a middle aged man one of the reason he left the monarchy was because he was no longer getting an allowance. He and his wife are so into the dollar that they actually proclaimed they ditched his family for “financial freedom.” Because priorities.

Now he and wife Meghan Markle , who demands to be called Duchess of Sussex (in person and in writing) live in Montecito, California. They married in 2018 and have two children Archie, 3, and Lilibet, 1.

Of Harry, one royal biographer, Ingrid Seward, does not dispute that he has, “that joie de vivre, and that connecting touch.” She goes so far as to say that he has a, “talent for hands-on public duty.”

We will buy the devil may care attitude, but Harry capable of duty? Nope.

Royal Family News – Harry Is Not Dutiful

Nonetheless at least one person in Harry’s debt was willing to go on the record to bolster the fairy tale of St. Harry. Colin Dyer is the former CEO of WellChild and he told the outlet, “Harry has patience more than anything else. The most important skill is to listen and understand and he does that really, really well.” That is all fine and good, but has Harry actually DONE?

Activist Ken Rutherford has an answer for that: “he has a magnetic appeal in widening the publicity for both banning landmines and helping those maimed by the weapons.” Correct me if I’m wrong, but again, Harry’s ‘appeal’ is a lot differnet than Harry actually doing something.

And, without a shred of apparent irony, the U.S. executive director of mine-clearing charity HALO Trust, Chris Whatley clacked, “There’s no comparison to the public attention,” generated by Harry. That is a true statement.

Royal Family News – Prince Harry Was Booed

Harry was the proud recipient of the Bronx cheer earlier this month when he and Me-Again dared to show their faces in the UK. The public loudly and enthusiastically booed them–how was that for generating public attention?

Hilariously, People had to scourge up quotes Harry made 6 YEARS ago for this current story on how wonderful he is. Presumably, because he has done or said nothing of importance since then.

Way back in 2016 Harry told People, “I don’t do things because I fell as though my mother would want me to do them. Weirdly, if there’s an overlap — which most of the time there is — then that’s fantastic. I know I’ve got a lot of my mother in me.” To be more precise, Harry has 50% of her DNA and 0% of authenticity.
