British Royal Family News suggests that even though Prince William hasn’t said anything about the damaging statements and allegations that have been made in the Netflix docuseries Harry and Meghan, that doesn’t mean he’s not freaking out about it.

It seems like there are some reports that suggest William might be trying to do some damage control with his brother Prince Harry, even though he hasn’t really said or done anything to stop the vicious press attacks on Harry and Meghan Markle in the past. Here’s what you need to know.
Royal Family News – Is Prince William Now Trying To Do Damage Control?
According to The Telegraph, even though it seems like the Netflix series Harry and Meghan are once again throwing the royal family under the bus again, William has apparently made an effort to protect his brother behind the scenes as he won’t allow anyone to say anything negative about him. One source said that despite all of William’s anger and sadness, “he still won’t tolerate a negative word from others about his brother.”
Yet, the insider also added, “Everyone thought they needed to get back together. Now I don’t think there’s anyone who really believes that’s possible. Working together will never happen. But can they be brothers again? You’ve got to hope. How much longer can this all go on?”
The insider also said William and his wife Kate Middleton couldn’t understand why Harry and Meghan wanted to change so much within the system, especially when it came to royal protocols. AS imperfect as the system was, it was perfect enough for them.

The tipster said, “ The Cambridges, relatively content with the imperfect system they had settled on to balance their family’s public and private roles, watched as Harry and Meghan tried to reset their own rules around royal births and christenings, to increase public ill-feeling. The crunch point, say those familiar with negotiations, was professional. The Sussexes wanted to trade their own path with commercial work, while the Cambridges could not.”
Royal Family News – What’s Next For The Royal Family?
For anyone who has watched the first volume of Harry and Meghan, they’ll know that the series talked about Queen Elizabeth’s work to lead the Commonwealth into a new era, although a lot of it did seem a little negative. The series called the Commonwealth a “privileged club of formally colonized nations.”
What’s more, the documentary also hinted that the royal family have long been benefitting from the historic slave trade. Writer Afua Hirsch told viewers: “It’s often said that Britain had a Deep South that was just as brutal, that actually enslaved more Africans than the United States of America did. But that Deep South was the Caribbean.”
