On the other hand it is very apparent that the shocking interview has garnered mixed opinions in the UK where the royals family, especially Queen Elizabeth remain popular.

According to The Mirror’s Pod Save the Queen podcast, one outspoken American told them that the US public have noticed there are “lots of holes” in Meghan and Harry’s sensationalized stories of mistreatment by the royal family.

This person added that their “poor little rich couple” narrative during a pandemic is “ridiculous.” Kelly O’Keefe is the American who explained that she has lived in London.

She praised the podcast for “showing both sides” and discrediting some of the claims made by the royal couple.

O’Keefe said, “Listened to your podcast and loving it. Love that you are showing both sides and are factually, I feel, debunking some of the lies.

She added, “One thing I would like to point out ‒ I am an American but have spent some time living in London over the years ‒ is that you just said American press post-interview seems to be pro-Sussex. True to the press but not true to the American people.”

Royal Family News – Will There Be Another Oprah Interview?

In the interview Meghan revealed that there had been comments from a senior member of the Royal Family questioning how dark her son Archie would be. In response to this and other allegations made by the pair, Buckingham Palace released a statement that the, “issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning” while noting that “recollections may vary.”

Meanwhile Prince William said the Royal Family was “very much not a racist family.”
