A source close to the situation says that the Princess of Wales just can’t get over the fact that Harry, who was once like a brother to her, has thrown the royal family under the bus in the way that he has.

The insider told Us Weekly, “Kate feels hurt and betrayed that Harry would do this to her, too, especially as the pair used to be so close.”

The tipster also said that even though there are a lot of people who think that he should do it, Prince William is refraining from telling his side of the story. In fact, William “isn’t planning to give his side of the story or openly retaliate. He’s remaining dignified and is getting on with the job.”

What’s more, the Prince of Wales has told his inner circle to keep calm and carry on and to basically ignore all of the negative vibes coming from a certain mansion in Montecito. He’s also not letting anything that Harry has said in front of the cameras get underneath his skin.

One source says that William “does not want us fuelling the conflict”, adding that, “[William’s] been very clear on that” and that he’s also “keen to have as much of a normal week as possible.”
