Royal Family News: Kate Middleton Meets With Holocaust Survivors

Kate MiddletonBritish royal family news shows that Kate Middleton the Duchess of Cambridge was out and about in the Lake District today. She braved the elements for a bit of abseiling and mountain biking and looked fit as a fiddle.

For the mini expedition at the RAF Air Cadets’ Windermere Adventure Training Centre, Kate wore a snug fitting puffer jacket and comfy leggings that betrayed no hint of a baby bump. The rumor mill has been rife with speculation that Kate is pregnant with her fourth child, but that did not appear to be the case as she larked about and enjoyed the great outdoors.

The future queen consort is Honorary Air Commandant of the Royal Air Force Air Cadets. Today her royal visit entailed meeting with a group of Air Cadets at Cathedral Quarry in Little Langdale, Cumbria.

One teen recalled an inspirational talk with the duchess. Itelouwa Odipe, a 13-year old from Lancaster, told the Daily Mail, “She was about to abseil and I was next in line so she asked me if I wanted to go before her. I was a bit scared so I said no. She said if I did she would meet me down there.”

After her fun adventure, Kate Middleton met with “Windermere children, kids who were, “rescued from concentration camps and taken to the Lake District during a visit to Cumbria.”

Her visit came on the day that the RAF Air Cadets’ Windermere Adventure Training Centre re-opened following a £2m renovation.

The center welcomes hundreds of cadets each year to take part in a range of confidence and skill building activities, and earn their Duke of Edinburgh Awards.

Royal Family News – Kate Middleton Is Back To Royal Duties

While at the Centre Kate Middleton spoke to several youth. She is said to have asked the teens about their activities there and about how the pandemic affected their mental health.

Itelouwa went on to say of his brief convo with Kate, “She said it was really good and I should try it. I think she was very kind. Even though she is a royal highness she still does things normal humans do.”

Kate also talked with Josh Binnie from the Kendal squadron of the cadets. He told her about his glider experience and she asked if he had motion sickness. He said no and she replied, “You’re made of tougher stuff than me. She was very nice, a lot less formal than I expected.”

    Kate is an unsung hero. I hope she gets her due instead of the squeaky wheels Harry and Meghan always getting the grease.
