British royal family news shows that Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, is on a two-day solo trip to Copenhagen on behalf of the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood.

Kate Middleton launched an early childhood initiative last year and the project focuses on preparing youngsters during a crucial time of development. Kate was pictured with a group of young children and she said, “It makes me very broody.”

Royal Family News: Kate Middleton Has Three Children

The Daily Mail reported that she went on to say that her husband Prince William, “always worries about me meeting under one-year-olds. I come home saying ‘let’s have another one.” Kate and Prince William have three adorable children: Prince George, 8, Princess Charlotte, 6, and Prince Louis, 3.

Kate and Prince William both have talked about adding to their family, although all signs indicate that they may remain a family of five. In 2019 during a visit to Northern Ireland, Kate also stated that she felt “broody” after meeting a 5-month-old baby there. The baby’s father then asked Kate, “Baby number four?” and she laughed and said, “I think William would be a little worried.” Then, in January 2020 Kate told a fan, “I don’t think William wants any more babies.”

Cherubic babies are hard to resist when they are tiny and beaming and cooing, but the problem with babies is that they grow up! Last month, Prince William and Kate were on a visit to Lancashire, and Kate held a baby girl to which William joked, “Don’t give my wife any more ideas!”

It’s obvious that Kate loves kids, just as her mother-in-law Diana did. The late Diana worked with young children before she married Prince Charles and Kate has focused her royal work on early childhood education. She has said that her passion is, “learning about how babies’ brains develop and how our early childhood influences the adult brain.”

Royal Family News: Kate is Broody Sometimes

Last June she launched The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood. Its goal is to, “drive awareness of and action on the extraordinary impact of the early years, in order to transform society for generations to come.”
