There was plenty of controversy swirling around, thanks mainly to his grandson Prince Harry who just last month trashed his family to Oprah Winfrey in an interview seen by millions around the world.
And there he was today, sans his equally accusatory wife Meghan Markle, trotting behind the coffin and mingling with those who surely mourned the death of his grandfather.

Because the couple dragged the royals in a shameless display of callousness, all eyes were on Harry. He returned home for the first time since abandoning the country and his family and naturally the world wanted to know what kind of reception he would get. Nigel Farage claimed that Harry was unwelcome in the UK and plenty of citizens voice a similar opinion after Harry refused to stop the tell-all while Philip was in the hospital.
Prince William was said to be still angry at how Harry destroyed the royal family for his own purposes and they did not walk side by side at the service, nor were they seated together.

Royal Family News – Was Prince Harry On His Best Behavior?
There was the briefest of moment when Princes William and Harry appeared to speak to one another, and that seconds-long exchange riveted viewers of the service.
Did it mean that they are now back on friendly terms? Did Harry apologize for his outlandish, buffoonish behavior? It had been more than a year since they were last seen in public together.
It has been mere weeks since Harry’s destructive Oprah Winfrey interview, which was said to have left William “incandescent” with rage.

It’s against this backdrop that William and Harry were filmed in each other’s company as they walked from St. George’s Chapel to Windsor Castle.
Now it’s being said that William’s wife, Kate Middleton, was the peacemaker. After the service, William spoke to the Right Reverend David Conner, the Dean of Windsor, while Harry spoke to Kate behind them. Next they began to walk away from the church with William ahead of his wife and Harry.
Harry then caught up with his them and they walked together for seconds before Kate discretely stepped away to speak to the Countess of Wessex and her daughter Lady Louise, leaving the brothers alone and forced to face each other.
