A royal expert is now claiming Kate Middleton told her close circle that, “wasn’t too late,” to, “pull Harry and Meghan back into the fold,” prior to their salacious and crude Oprah Winfrey tell-all.
Kate Middleton Is Following In The Queen’s Footsteps
Kate was said to be of the same mind as Queen Elizabeth before the interview, being optimistic that Harry and Meghan would still want to be part of the close clan. Clearly, that was not their plan.
Camilla Tominey told Stella magazine, “I have been reliably informed she was even telling her friends before the Oprah interview that she did not think it was too late to, ‘pull them back in.’”
She added that an insider told her that when it comes to the Duchess of Cambridge, “Kate’s natural instinct is to try to smooth things over.”
Kate Middleton Wants To Be A Peacemaker
In contrast, trash-talking Harry and Meghan had no problem throwing Kate and the rest of the royals under the bus during their cringy cryfest with Oprah Winfrey in March.
Meghan came out swinging, with her first allegation being that Kate made her cry before she married Prince Harry. The indelicate couple then went on to drop multiple ‘truth bombs’ many of which were swiftly and thoroughly discredited.
Harry had to face his family weeks later at his grandfather Prince Philip’s funeral; Meghan chose to stay home. Despite his ugly antics, Kate was the first member of the family seen talking to him amid reports he received a chilly reception from other family members.
Kate Middleton Is So Different From Meghan Markle
The royal expert also said that after Meghan accused Kate of making her cry, the latter chose to, “rise above,” it and act as a peacemaker at Prince Philip’s funeral.
Kate’s uncle Gary Goldsmith has confirmed that his niece is, “trying to mediate” and bring peace to the family after Harry and Meghan’s destructive allegations.
Goldsmith is brother to Kate’s mother Carole and he recently described the Duchess as a “brilliant arbiter and peacemaker,” and he told Closer magazine that Harry should, “stop his self-indulgent episode,” before there is, “no common ground or relationship to rebuild.”
He added that everyone was left stunned by Harry’s outbursts, saying, “If you want an easy life, work it out privately and have a conversation respectfully. Don’t air it in public, it’s really hurtful,’ Gary told the publication.
