This is where Kate’s uncle Gary Goldsmith comes into the picture. According to the Daily Mail, the brother of Carole Middleton, Kate’s mother, is defending the woman who will one day be queen consort.

Gary has spoken out to refute the trashy accusations Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made in their Netflix docuseries. According to him, Kate and William want to patch things up with Harry.

He told Mail+ that Meghan’s claim that Kate is a cold fish are nonsense: Meghan claimed that she tried to hug Kate but her feeling wasn’t returned. Gary refuted this by saying, “At her younger sister Pippa’s wedding in 2017, she had Prince George in her arms and literally ran over to give me and my daughter Tallulah a massive hug.”

He added, “To me, the series felt not only scripted and inauthentic, but unfair, self-interested, unreasonable and untrue – especially when done in the knowledge that William and Catherine could never answer back.”

He also described his niece and William’s romance and marriage as a, “real fairytale love story.” He notes that the parents of three adorable kids excel at, “working together as a cohesive unit.”

Meanwhile, King Charles’ wife Queen Consort Camilla ignored the Harry and Meghan while at a star-studded Christmas Party in London last week. It was not an official event and Camilla – rubbed elbows with Dame Judi Dench, Jeremy Clarkson, and Claudia Winkleman. Despite the accusations flung against the monarchy, “The Queen Consort … appeared in high spirit at a festive gathering in Mayfair. She was seen giving her son, Tom Parker Bowles, an affectionate kiss on the cheek before leaving the restaurant.” Never complain, never explain ….
