A lot of royal fans and critics alike would like to think that Katy Perry is Team Kate Middleton only because she criticized Meghan Markle’s wedding dress back in 2108. \At the time she suggested that she would have done one more fitting before the wedding, which some people took as a diss towards Meghan. Katy said, “I would’ve done one more fitting. Kate won.”
And while Katy Perry might have just suggested that Kate Middleton “won” the battle for the best royal wedding dress between her and Meghan Markle, the singer doesn’t think that the Duchess of Sussex is any less of a person. In fact, she’s also shared her praise for the former Hollywood actress, too.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Katy said of Meghan, “It’s amazing what she’s doing with all her humanitarian efforts. You know, the fact that she’s a proud feminist, I love all that. So, I support her as another woman and love her and wish [Markle and Prince Harry] well.”

Royal Family News – Prince Harry and Orlando Bloom Are Friends, Too
Prince Harry has also said that he and Meghan talk to Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom as neighbors. They don’t really hang out with each other, but they are close enough to text back and forth.
Back in May 2021, he said, “Two days ago, Orlando Bloom sent me a message because he’s just down the road. And we sort of keep in contact because of the paparazzi.”
