Royal Family News: King Charles Concerned Wife, Camilla, Has A Drinking Problem?

British Royal family news reveals King Charles III reportedly worried that Camilla has a drinking problem and how that could affect his reign. Geo TV reported that an informant close to the royal family said that Charles is looking for a way to help his wife without putting any negative press on the family.

Royal Family News – Charles Had An Agreement With Camilla

A royal source reveals that Charles had to persuade his mother not to push him aside in favor of his son Prince William. Knowing that William would eventually have his turn, he wanted to be king. Queen Elizabeth wanted Camilla to be called princess consort, but Charles objected. The queen finally allowed her to take the title of queen consort.

Camilla wasn’t content with being called princess consort, which Charles had promised her when they wed in 2005. Her goal has always been to be queen. But Her Majesty was reluctant until Charles apparently pulled out his ace card,” the royal insider explained.

Camilla’s Drinking Is A Huge Problem

The insider said Queen Camilla’s “excessive drinking” is a big problem for Charles. He knows she has fallen off the wagon so many times, and every time she does, it embarrasses him.

To protect his image, IBT reported that Charles forces Camilla to check into a rehab center 5,000 miles away from London. He wants his coronation in May to go smoothly. He can’t depend on Camilla unless she gets help.

The insider alleges that her drinking problem worsened when she became Queen Consort and learned she would be crowned alongside her husband of 17 years.

The source claims that once Camilla had a few drinks of gin or glasses of wine, she became “a monster.” Apparently, no one could reason with her, not even Charles.

Royal Family News – Reportedly Prince Will Approached King Charles About the Problem

Another report claims that Prince William approached his father, urging him to get Camilla help before she embarrassed the family.

“At first, he tried to gently point out that the stress of Elizabeth’s death was intense, and he understood why she turned to alcohol for comfort. But she was out of control and needed to sober up,” the royal source said of Prince William’s concern.

Camilla allegedly felt betrayed by Prince William’s comments. She expressed her anger with her husband, who backed up his son, urging her to get help. The insider says he refused to allow her to be crowned alongside him if she didn’t.

“The treatments have worked in the past, and Charles desperately hopes they work again…The last thing he needs is humiliating scenes with a boozed-up wife at his coronation,” the royal source explained.

It’s important to point out that there is no proof that Camilla has an alcohol addiction or that King Charles III forced her into rehab. Last month, she checked into SOUKYA, an Indian International Holistic Heath Center.
