According to the National Enquirer, Tom Bower thinks that King Charles is putting his head down in all of this just because he’s worried about the possibility that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle might retaliate if they aren’t given what they want.

That, or the publicity-obsessed couple could wind up stealing the spotlight at King Charles’ Coronation next month, and that’s something no one clearly wants to see.

But at the same time, King Charles does want to make up with the Sussexes because he’s had enough of all the back and forth feuding. Not only that, but they are family, regardless of whether some people like it or not.

Bower said, “Charles is caught between a rock and a hard place. If he caves into the Sussexes, he’ll lose respect of the British people and also members of his own family who no longer trust the couple. If he bans them, they will just continue their public treachery and deceit, setting themselves up as victims as they level more attacks on him and the royals.”

Bower continued, “Charles may have good reason to fear his son since Harry teased he might write a second no-hold barred book after the success of his memoir, Spare. But that’s exactly why he should take charge and put an end to the Sussex sideshow once and for all.”

If that weren’t enough, Bower also suggests that no matter what King Charles decides to do, he’s in a lose- lose situation. That, and he thinks that the King of England is also in a very dangerous path. Bower said, “Talk of reconciliation is a mirage. Harry and Meghan will settle for nothing less than total capitulation and victory.”
