There is no question of paternity in this scenario, the reason Charles is linked to multiple recent births is through his involvement in a fertility program that is part of his ‘Royal Health Service’ which is housed at Dumfries House.

The House is a Scottish home he renovated in 2007 and offers complementary fertility therapies including acupuncture, reflexology, massage, yoga and hypnotherapy.

The treatments are free and other classes offered include relationship counselling, cooking and dance lessons.

Now in its fifth year of operation, the Fertility Wellbeing program has “helped bring 40 new babies into the world” according to the Daily Mail.

The Prince’s Foundation oversees Dumfries House. It’s claimed that half of the women taking part in the “first-of-its-kind project – some of whom were previously deemed ‘infertile’” went on to become mothers. In contrast, “the average birth rate for IVF patients in the UK is around 20 per cent.”

Royal Family News: King Charles’ Alternative Medicine Program

King Charles has said that he thinks “safe and effective, complementary medicine can play an important role in healthcare systems.”

But ten years ago he was criticized for asking the NHS to recognize “the core human elements of mind, body and spirit” as part of treatment plans.

How does the alternative treatment plan advocated by King Charles work? Meaghan Miller is the health and wellbeing coordinator for the innovative program and she said “The point of our Health and Wellbeing programme is to complement what the NHS is already doing.”

She noted that the couples who come to the program have tried and failed to conceive and that Dumfries House offers a program in sync with how the “mind and body connect.”

She added that not every couple go on to conceive after attending the program, but she believes that “everyone takes away something from the programme that can be helpful.”

The service is paid for by the Prince’s Foundation as well as private donations. In addition to the fertility classes, the Health and Wellbeing programme at Dumfries House offers “holistic treatments for chronic pain, diabetes, anxiety and menopause symptoms.”
