British royal family news reveals that the High Court has reached a stunning decision in regard to Virginia Roberts Giuffre’s sexual assault lawsuit against Prince Andrew. Today a London court accepted a request by Giuffre’s lawyers to formally contact Andrew after first rejecting the request.
Royal Family News – Prince Andrew Is On the Hot Seat
According to the Daily Mail, in order for, “one person to sue another in a civil case, the claimant has to formally present legal papers to the other party to notify them of the action – a process known as a service of proceedings.”
Giuffre’s legal team reportedly left the required legal documents with a security officer at Andrew’s home. In response, Andrew’s legal team stated that he was properly served, thus arguing that the case cannot progress.
In response to Andrew’s response, Giuffre’s legal team used the, “Hague Service Convention, a treaty governing requests between nations for evidence in civil cases, to ask the High Court to formally notify Andrew about her action.”
Royal Family News – Prince Andrew Must Answer To The Court
In response to the response to the response, the High Court today said it has accepted the request and will serve the papers to Andrew if Giuffre’s legal team cannot.
It’s been reported that if Andrew himself does receive the legal papers it does not automatically mean that he must defend himself in court.
One legal expert told The Sun, “The bottom line is Prince Andrew is being served. That is the substance of what the High Court says. He cannot refuse.”

Prince Andrew Cannot Refuse
The High Court issued this statement about the matter: “Lawyers acting for Ms Giuffre have now provided further information to the High Court, and the High Court has accepted the request for service under the Hague Service Convention. The legal process has not yet been served but the High Court will now take steps to serve under the convention, unless service is arranged by agreement between the parties.”
Based on the latest development in Andrew’s legal woes, hiding out in one of the royal family’s many sheltered estate mansions is no longer an option.
