Royal Family News: Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Are Bona Fide Celebs, For Now

Meghan And Harry British royal family news reveals that Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry have perfected their brand one year on from Megxit. Prince Harry’s Sunday night “rock star” performance during a global vax lecture showed that he has the kind of appeal that results in standing ovations.

And it’s just been announced that in-between promoting vegan lattes and throwing shade at Harry’s family, Meghan has found time to “write” a children’s book.

In other words, it looks like that the Markle’s are here to stay. At least as long as the public will have them. Popularity is a fickle thing and as the saying goes, if they can make you they can break you.

Royal Family News: The Markle’s Are Full on Commercial

Kitty Kelley has written a bunch of biographies of famous folk including the Kennedy’s, Oprah Winfrey, and the British royal family. She told the Washington Post, “Harry and Meghan will be sought after socially in America and paid generously (some might say exorbitantly) for their celebrity value.”

“Not even the biggest U.S. movie star or sports giant can claim Harry and Meghan’s link to the British monarchy.”

She also noted a royal precedent with Sarah, the Duchess of York, and ex-wife of Prince Andrew. She also came to the US to make money when she partnered with Weight Watchers in 1997. What’s she doing today? Writing and promoting children’s books just like Meghan.

The couple has gobbled up titles and resume builders like crazy. Harry joined the nonprofit Aspen Institute’s Commission on Information Disorder and is chief impact officer at BetterUp, a tech start-up in Silicon Valley.

Royal Family News – The Markle’s Should Be Trademarked

It’s been noted that the “former actress and semi-prince are restyling themselves in the image of such stars and giants who start out in one field and then end up in all of the — performers like Dwayne Johnson and Jennifer Lopez, athletes like LeBron James and Serena Williams, models like Tyra Banks, chefs like Bobby Flay and, of course, political families, the most famous recipients of the “American royalty” moniker.”

Need more proof of the path the Markle’s are on? The Post notes, “Jacqueline Kennedy was known to use her celebrity for charitable causes; now the Clintons are creating novels, podcasts, and docuseries. Barack and Michelle Obama launched podcasts on Spotify (“The Michelle Obama Podcast” for her; “Renegades” with Bruce Springsteen for him) and partnered with Netflix to produce a slate of socially conscious movies and shows, such as the documentaries “American Factory” and “Crip Camp” and the cooking series “Waffles + Mochi.”

It looks like the Markle’s are breathing rare air. But for how long remains to be seen.

I too, am weary of hearing so much about these two. I have been skipping articles about them for awhile now. She has not done anything great that I can remember. She is a wanna be.

These two are seriously getting on the nerves of their nation, as opposed to being celebrities. They both have no shame and their hubris is off the charts!!! Nut-Meg has tried to copy and emulate Princess Diana, and now she is copying Sarah, Duchess of York with her children's book writing scheme…and truth be told, Nut-Meg has plagiarized much of the book she wrote. Their celebrity rests only on seeking the limelight continuously, and people fascinated by watching two spoiled brats make fools of themselves.

Their 15 minutes of fame has been extended but it can't go on forever.
