British royal family news shows that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are on the cover of Time as part of the once reputable magazine’s 2021 list of the 100 most influential people alive.
It’s still September, so what’s with the April Fool’s joke? Sadly, this is no joke. Time actually inserted Princess Pinocchio and The Fresh Prince of Montecito onto a list of actual achievers such as US President Joe Biden and tech monster Elon Musk.
What did they do to deserve the honor as well as a cover shot? That’s debatable. But according to someone whom they have given untold dollars, they deserve to be recognized due to, “giving a voice to the voiceless,” and, “running toward the struggle.”
Royal Family News – The Markle’s Are Honored
Those words came out of the mouth of celebrity chef José Andrés—did he need the Heimlich Maneuver afterward? The well-documented truth is that the couple threw a wad of money at José Andrés (Google it) and next thing you know he publicly sings their praises. What a coincidence.
Unlike Andrés, real people told it like it is with social media comments on the Markle’s “great achievement” ranging from calling out their “awkward” photoshoot to saying that the thirsty couple makes them want to “vomit.”
Meme’s flooded social media perhaps none more apropos than their buddy Oprah Winfrey’s slack jawed “what?” comment during her trashy interview with Harry and Meghan in March.
Are the Markle’s Really Humbled?
One wiseacre posted a meme of celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay saying, “Oh f*** off,” and someone posted Ryan Gosling laughing his you know what off.
In another coincidence, the cover erupted on Hollywood Harry’s 37th birthday. One eagle eyed non-fan noted that the cover photo of Harry in back of his wife perfectly exposed the couple’s relationship dynamic: “Wow, this photo speaks volumes. There is no hiding who’s in control.” Someone else wrote, “Harry looks completely awkward peering behind his wife like this.”
Other stagey photos show Harry and Meghan strolling without a care in the world on the grounds of their estate, and in matchy match outfits as they stare down the camera. One fan was not impressed and posted, “Terrible retouching job. They look CGI.”
Someone else noticed, “This photo looks photoshopped. Also, the way they are positioned is very revealing: it’s the Meghan show and Harry is just the supporting actor.” Well at least he was allowed in the house, unlike in Meghan’s August birthday video in which he was seen juggling his balls in the yard.
